Hosting Innovation Training

With generous support from the European Commission and in collaboration with plenum (Vienna, Austria), Academy for Visionautics (Berlin, Germany), and the Sendzimir Foundation (Warsaw, Poland), Art Monastery Italia offers

Hosting Innovation Training

 September 19 to 25, 2016 in Italy

March 06 to 12, 2017 in Poland

We live at a time during which people feel a growing need to go out and make change, instead of staying at home and looking at the world from the outside. Active citizens want to live their ideas and visions. To support these active citizens, we urgently need people who host, facilitate, moderate, support, inspire, guide and empower others during critical innovation phases or visionary development processes.

Within the Erasmus+ Project „Hosting Social Innovation“ we are launching a pilot program that will bolster those important hosting competencies.

The participants in two 5-day trainings will…

    • learn how to guide groups of people to find creative, new solutions
    • experience transformative innovation methods & tools and learn how to apply them
    • find out how to involve people in social innovations and raise awareness for collective challenges
    • learn how to overcome obstacles and critical points within an innovation process
    • facilitate innovation sessions yourself and get ideas and feedback for improvement
    • learn how to refresh your own thinking and make your organization, team or classroom a more flexible, solution-oriented, agile place
    • get to know different perspectives on social innovation from the group of international facilitators and practitioners

As a Certified Innovation Host participants will have the knowledge, the transformative leadership, and the hosting skills to empower people. With you as their host, they can take care of their social and ecological environment more actively!

The training program consists of two parts and will be in English language:

We worked in a beautiful and natural setting, living together in a spacious home in Montegiove, nestled in the rolling hills of Umbria, not far from Rome.

We enjoyed our own private chef (a real Italian mama!) and a variety of spaces to work and relax.

Target Group

The target group of this training is primarily people who already work as facilitators with different groups and/or different topics (e.g. teachers, moderators, consultants, trainers, managers…), who want to add competencies regarding hosting (social) innovation to their personal or professional portfolio.

… aim to be quick and effective problem solvers.

… want to implement an innovation attitude in their organization.

… dare to face challenges that cannot be solved by traditional approaches.

… help their learners to think out of the box.

… want to live a wide awake lifestyle of creativity and curiosity.
