How to Arrive
The closest airport is ROMA FIUMICINO. We can pick you up at the airport for €90, or if you can travel by car or train:
By Car

- Take the A1 North.
- Take the Orte exit.
- Follow the signs to Terni.
- From Terni, follow the signs to SS79 toward Rieti (the signs will also direct you toward Lago di Piediluco).
- Approximately 5 minutes past Piediluco, you will see a small sign instructing you to turn left to Labro (across from a pink trattoria). Turn left there and wind your way up the hill.
- Just before Labro, the monastery driveway is a hairpin turn to the right.
- It’s easiest to go all the way to Labro and then turn around. Coming from Labro, you can follow signs to Colle di Costa and Ristorante Ulisse.
By Train
From Fiumicino Airport, take the train to TERNI station (there will be a transfer either at Roma Termini or Roma Tiburtina). We can pick you up there for €15, or if you’re feeling more adventurous, take local BUS 24 from the TERNI train station to PIEDILUCO / LA LUCE. Buses do not run on Sundays.
