Star River Moon

New Moon  December 3, 2021

We enter the darkness now

we go outside

into the wide dark

& we have a choice—

the universe keeps expanding

faster than ever before

energy outpacing matter

singing through wilderness

—we can live within a small inside

or we can look up to the Star River

& know ourselves a part of it

free light everywhere

already home.
